gave me a shot at the Colorado
Daily. I was hired as a dance
reviewer again, and actually became
one. I took
dance classes at Naropa University
and honed a style. Leland gave me
the opportunity to do some to do
some
great interviews and gave me room
to suggest stories, which I took full
advantage of. A great influence and
tremendous editor, Leland continues
to inspire me. Included here are
stories on Mose Allison, Buddy Guy,
Phillip Glass,
David Henry Hwang and Jerome
Sirlin, Bill Douglas, Art Lande, John
Syrkus of the Boulder Folk Festival
and Nancy
Hall Smith. I’ve also included some
reviews: A Hallucination of Elvis,
Faculty Dance Show, University of
Colorado.
